A beginning, a middle, and an end

Every good story has a beginning, a middle, and an end.

I have been writing about my Peace Corps experience, and I want to tell a good story.

It began three years ago when I submitted my application.
It meandered by awkward moments and exciting first impressions.
It saw me through huge professional challenges that tested my persistence.
Recently, it told of my abrupt and unplanned exit.

And then what?

And then what? Where does the journey end?

And then what? Where does the journey end?

And then what?

This is a question that I have been pondering ever since I was medically separated. It is a question that I am asked almost daily by friends and family. Where do you go from here?

There is no ending to my story yet. That is why I will continue to write; I feel that it would be remiss if I stopped before the story is complete.

I am not living an epilogue; I am still living my story.

———————

In the coming months, I will reflect upon how my time in Mexico has changed me; I will travel during my sabbatical; and then I will step into my new life. I will step into another story.

I hope that you stick with me until the end of this one.

How has this woman changed my life? Keep reading and I will tell you.

  1. If your travels bring you to the east coast you have an open room anytime at your favorite second cousins place in Providence…would love to see you! Looking forward to seeing where life takes you next!

    • It is looking pretty likely, so far. I will definitely make a swing by at some point to meet all of your housemates (furry and non!), and to have a nice time in one of my favorite cities with my fave second cousin!
